The 2026 Class of History Makers will be announced at a Reveal Press Conference on Wednesday, April 1 at 10:30 am in the Museum's Governor Fifer Courtroom and live online via the Museum's YouTube Channel. Tickets and table sponsorships will be available for purchase later that afternoon.

The 2026 History Makers Gala, which also serves as the Annual Meeting of the McLean County Historical Society, will take place on the evening of Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at Illinois State University's Brown Ballroom in the Bone Student Center.
